Trusted Games Index · Canada
Terms and Conditions
These terms explain how you may use our independent guide to entertainment game websites, and what to expect when you follow a link to a publisher. They apply to visits to trustedgamesindex.com from 20 October 2026.
Effective date: 20 October 2026
1. Scope and acceptance
Trusted Games Index publishes editorial comparisons and practical guidance for Canadian readers considering entertainment game websites. By accessing or using this guide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site. These terms govern your relationship with the guide operator; they do not replace the separate rules that apply between you and a game publisher.
We provide information, not the games themselves. We do not operate game servers, accept bets, provide gambling services, or award cash prizes. You do not need to create an account to read our pages. Any publisher may set its own eligibility rules, including age, location, and account requirements.
2. Permitted and prohibited use
You may read the guide for personal, lawful purposes, share links to our pages, and send a good-faith correction or question through our contact page. Please describe concerns accurately and include a page link when it helps us investigate. We may review submissions and decide whether a change is warranted; sending a suggestion does not guarantee publication.
You must not use the site to:
- send abusive, threatening, deceptive, or unlawful material, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your connection with a publisher;
- upload or transmit malicious code, probe or disrupt the site, interfere with another visitor, or attempt unauthorized access;
- scrape, reproduce, or bulk-copy substantial portions of our editorial material without permission; or
- submit passwords, payment-card numbers, banking details, or other sensitive financial information in a message to our editors.
When you visit an external game service, follow its age restrictions and platform rules. A link from our guide does not make an otherwise restricted activity appropriate for you.
3. Editorial content and source artwork
Unless a page says otherwise, the original writing, page arrangement, and comparison explanations created for Trusted Games Index belong to the site operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may quote a brief passage for commentary or criticism when you identify Trusted Games Index and link to the relevant page. That limited permission does not allow you to republish a complete guide, compile our rankings as a substitute product, or imply that we endorse your publication.
Game titles, publisher names, logos, screenshots, and other game artwork remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance identifies or discusses a service; it does not transfer a licence to you, establish sponsorship, or imply that a publisher approved our editorial conclusions. Contact the relevant rights holder about permission to reuse its material. Contact us before reproducing a substantial part of our own writing.
4. Editorial independence and commercial links
Our comparisons use editorial judgement. Depending on the information available, we consider game variety, usability, clarity of features and terms, community features, and the time commitment a service may involve. A ranking is a guide to those considerations, not a promise that one site is best for every player. Your preferences, device, location, and experience can lead to a different choice.
If we introduce a paid placement or affiliate link, we will identify that relationship near the relevant link or placement. A commercial relationship must not buy an undisclosed change to a ranking. A link alone should not be read as proof that a service is safe, available in your province, or suitable for you. Review the publisher’s current terms and make your own decision before signing up or paying.
5. Third-party games and links
External websites and games are operated by their publishers, not by Trusted Games Index. Their own terms, privacy notices, prices, age limits, regional availability, and support processes apply once you leave our site. Check those details directly before registering, downloading software, making a purchase, or sharing information. We cannot change a publisher’s service or resolve an account, billing, moderation, or gameplay issue on its behalf.
A “Play now” label or other link is an invitation to visit a destination, not a guarantee that it is available to every visitor or that all content is free. Offers, features, and access rules can change without notice to us. We may remove or update a link when we learn that its destination has changed.
Our coverage is limited to entertainment games. For context on how advertising distinguishes games from gambling, see the public Google Ads policy on gambling and games. That reference is informational only; it does not mean Google has reviewed, approved, or endorsed this site or a listed publisher.
6. Accuracy, availability and liability
We work to make our comparisons useful, but details can become outdated as publishers change features, prices, availability, or rules. Information is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that every statement is complete or error-free, that the site will always be available, or that a particular game will suit your needs. We do not promise a game outcome, prize, earning, or uninterrupted access to a third-party service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss arising from your use of this guide or a third-party service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where applicable law does not allow that exclusion or limit. Nothing here removes a mandatory consumer protection, legal warranty, or other right that applies to you. If a term cannot lawfully apply in your circumstances, it applies only to the lawful extent and the rest of these terms remain in effect.
7. Applicable law and disputes
Ontario law and applicable federal laws of Canada govern these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your province or territory. Those protections remain available to you. This choice does not require you to give up a right to bring a claim before a court or tribunal that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
If you have a concern about the guide, contact the editorial operator first with the page address and a clear description of the issue. We will review it and try to respond constructively. This informal step does not create mandatory arbitration, prevent you from seeking independent advice, or waive a statutory remedy.
8. Updates to these terms
These terms are effective 20 October 2026. We may revise them when the site, our editorial practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the beginning of this page identifies the current version; please review it when returning to the guide. For a material change to the scope of these terms, we will update the date and explain the change on this page.
A revised version applies from its stated effective date to future use of the site. It does not retroactively remove a right that has already accrued or displace a mandatory protection. If you continue using the guide after an update takes effect, the revised terms govern your subsequent use to the extent permitted by law.
